There are great players. Then there are legends.

Charlie Sifford and Arnold Palmer changed the face of golf.
We were thrilled to share their stories.

Arnold Palmer: A Lasting Impact

The
Challenge

When Arnold Palmer passed away just days before the Ryder Cup, our creative partners at the PGA knew they could turn to us to create the perfect memorial video — and that we could do it in less than 36 hours.

The
Strategy

Our team worked around the clock to craft a tribute that was fitting of the King. Working with archival footage, we ideated, wrote, and edited the 60 second piece — complete with voiceover work by the incomparable Morgan Freeman — and delivered it for national broadcast during the Ryder Cup coverage on NBC.

The
RESULT

A 30-second PSA that garnered 6.4MM views in a single day of Ryder Cup Coverage, and honored the achievements of one of golf’s most beloved players.

Charlie Sifford: Changing the Face of Golf

The
Challenge

The PGA of America wanted to honor Dr. Charlie Sifford as he received the 2014 Presidential Medal of Freedom. They asked us to tell the incredible story of the first African American player on the PGA Tour — and do so within a tight timeline and a limited budget.

THE
STRATEGY

Our in-house team and global network of creative professionals worked together to ideate and produce a video that honored Dr. Sifford’s pioneering spirit and remarkable legacy. We created a piece that showcased the man who paved the way for diversity in the sport, and expressed the gratitude of the PGA and golfers around the world.

The
RESULT

A compelling PSA that celebrates the achievements of a remarkable player, and encourages audiences to see a part of themselves in his story.

Please wait until Mr. Sifford shoots. Charlie’s a golfer just like me. And so too is Mr. Boros. Clap for them as you would for me, or please, don’t clap at all. Thank you.
