Bridgestone: Daring To Be Different

Golfers tend to be a crowd-following bunch. Most of us have a bit of an obsession with Titleist Pro V1s and Ping irons, without actually really knowing if they are any better than anything else.

Bridgestone's new commercial featuring Tiger Woods is trying to flip this way of thinking on its head and encourage us golfers to strike out in a different direction. By poking fun at the 'herd mentality', Bridgestone have done a pretty good job of calling us out on our preconceived notion that Titleist is automatically the best you can get when it comes to a golf ball.

Time will tell if any of us will switch allegiance away from Titleist, but with Tiger on the books, and this clever bit of advertising, it certainly seems like a possibility.
