Europe Leading The Way in Boosting Participation

The sheer popularity of Top Golf marks a new age in efforts to increase participation in the game of golf. In Europe in particular, the game has grown for a multitude of reasons and programs currently not seen in the US.

KPMG’s Golf Participation Report for Europe was released in April 2016, and showed positive signs for participation rates, with 67% of European golf institutions reporting stabilization or an increase in numbers. The downloadable report sighted better opportunities for higher-handicapped players and improving the social experience, as important reasons for the growth in some areas. 

These initiatives are easily transferrable across international markets and, with proven track records, could be important areas of focus in America over the next few years.
